Privacy

What is stored. Your username, a bcrypt hash of your password (never the password itself), and your plays: date, mode, level, random seed and shuffle count (for some Danger Zone runs, also the result of the server's check of that count). No email, no real name.

What is public. Your username, your profile history and your leaderboard entries.

Cookies. One session cookie keeps you logged in for up to 30 days. It is strictly necessary and there are no tracking or advertising cookies. The Danger Zone saves its progress in your browser's local storage.

IP addresses. Kept in memory for at most an hour to limit sign-up and login attempts. They aren't written to the database.

Deleting your data. Log in, open your profile and use “Delete my account”. Everything linked to your account is removed immediately.
